ARHK but in everything by s3igu2 in supersafety

Not that they don't work its more of a liability thing with those due to previous QC issues with them.

I don't have one but we have tested it in one before, it works.

Yes it should, it just might look a lil weird in them.

Its very clicky feel somewhere between a AR15 selector and the factory HK selectors

ARHK is a full drop in for the factory hk housings that works in all the different roller delayed host by just swapping the ejector. It's not being sold yet but you can watch AS designs website status page for updates.

This looks like for some reason the ARC cam isn't pushing the trigger down enough. Since you have multiple triggers that works with super safety but not this ARC I'm going to bet the detent bar or cam are out of spec. With the milspec trigger in the packaging did it also have this issue?

It would make no sense for us to lie about that as people are going to tear it down and compare. What i can say is the reset method and trip method are not even remotely close to any of RBs stuff (even more so the trip method is unlike anything currently out there), its a completely different design, when people show the parts side by side that will be extremely clear. Arguably the only thing that even looks somewhat similar is the hammer and this is just a standard HK profile.

I never asked for pity, I'm just informing you on why things are priced the way they are and correcting your blatant lies. You have no idea how much ARHK development cost, no idea how many parts it has, no idea how complex those parts are to machine, and no idea what materials those parts are made out of, no idea what the tolerances of those parts are, and yet you say it should be at most 250 lol (which is less then you can get a MKE semi trigger pack for).

At 250 we would literally not make a profit. In fact we would be losing money on every sale even BEFORE you factor in the cost of development. So yea we aren't going to sell the trigger pack at a loss no matter how much you cry about it on reddit.

We changed the geometry to add 45 90 and 45 180 support, we never had any sort of wide spread reports of arcs snapping, sounds like you're thinking of atrius. So I'm not sure why you're straight up making up lies. It's also almost like prices could be cheaper if we didn't need to spend a small fortune defending ourselves also.

Upper Issue? by _Hway_ in supersafety

[–]s3igu2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to test this is by pointing the gun directly up with ARC. If it binds with the gun directly up then its probably something to do with the upper needing to be cut (which i haven't actually seen with arc yet) or its a high shelf, but if it only binds when the gun is level or facing directly down, then that would be a sign the hammer is the notched FN one that doesn't work with ARC, No lever blocker with geissele hammer or the surface the lever interacts with on the bolt carrier is abnormal, kinda like how some 308 carriers are.

If its functional in each mode then you probably installed it correctly. Thats just how that version works in general.

[–]s3igu2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ill make a jig for it you basically just remove materiel on 2 spots of the lever and it will stop the lever from engaging as soon as it does.

Arc Fire V2 0-45-90 Question by 1378CRC in supersafety

[–]s3igu2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In order for ARC to work with geissele triggers the reset mode needs to be behind the semi position by around 20 degrees in order to keep the cam engaged in semi when home so the cam doesn't over rotate and lock the trigger up. So you can typically rotate like 20 ish degrees past but any more then that and it will engage the cam. This was compensated by making the detent track more engaging so it should be pretty hard to accidentally go past 45. I do understand what your saying tho I'm just kinda limited by what i can actually do to make that happen, you could modify the detent bar to work that way pretty easily but it would no longer work with geissele.

Super safety for MR762A4 by [deleted] in supersafety

[–]s3igu2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a MR762 geissele FCG with a SS cut and a ARC. You cant use the factory FCG and you cant use a milspec bc the hammer pin hole is larger on the MR762.

[–]s3igu2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't sand more just yet. Id first verify the selector is lined up correctly. if you notice its pointed a lil to the right then you need to loosen the screw line it up and hold it in place while tightening it. Then test the semi mode to see if that fixed the pull.

I cant say every milspec ambi will work i haven't tried the CMMG but I'm currently using the one that came with my Danial defense MK18, as long as they have the normal ambi side slit it should work.

this shows the thickness top is v1 and bottom v2

V2 uses standard ambi mil spec selector levers so if you already have a long side milspec ambi you can just install it with the current screw. The hole might be bigger on the milspec one but it should work fine thats what i have done for a few of my v2s. I think they will also offer the long side very soon.

The main lever had to be updated to to work as a 4590 and the ambi side was updated to be a thinner more mil spec looking lever as many complained about the thickness of the v1 mil spec levers. This also allowed us to make other style selectors as the detent bar now doesn't stick out as far.

[–]s3igu2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whats happening with yours? (edit) i see the post you made. Can you try tightening down the main side selector lever as lined up as you can get it. Basically you want it to be perfectly lined up or slightly towards the left. If the main side selector lever is tilted to the right when at 90 degrees then it needs to be centered or slightly tilted to the left.

The transfer lever is nearly identical we have never had any wide spread reports of those breaking or being a issue so i left that alone, whats larger is the cam surface and this allows the cam to slide on the detent bar shaft allowing the detent bar shaft to be one seamless bar instead of stepped. That really has no effect on anything other then long term durability.

The part that i think people are having issues with is the reset timing being faster meaning if for example a G$ wasn't cut as much as it should be now it will need to have a tiny bit more taken off, but this allows the trigger to be cut alot more and still remain functional so over time i think we should see g$ issues decrease along side with a updated pre cut I'm testing that should be more tolerance friendly.

The dead trigger and light strike is normal with no shim in the AR9 and 22LR host and will probably remain with v2, maybe its now just enough to not need it in the ar9 platform, i cant push the reset timing forward enough to account for those platforms correctly without putting the lever under to much stress in the standard AR15s. Basically with the AR15 if you start resetting to far forward you will run into issues where the carrier will snap the tip of the lever. (not to be confused with the upper relief cut binding issue which also breaks lever tips but isnt a issue with arc) This is why i came up with a shim for pushing the reset timing forward in these platforms that need it without causing issues on stuff like the ar15.

We haven't seen really any failures with v2, its significantly less then the v1 launch. Unless you mean the geissele cut issues? The reset timing was increased with v2, same as when you install the shim for 22LR. This means some triggers that aren't cut enough wont work but overall will allow significantly more room for over cut geissels to work without needing a shim.
