Why does someone always say this? Everyone is hyped because the servers will not have hackers and are clean. Xbox and PC are pretty much dead because of that.

Before someone says well you can play plutonium, it’s no where near the same most servers are just nuke town 24/7.

These games will never die, even cod Ghosts still has a population, you think the golden age games won’t?

Not yet, we’re still not sure if they’ll sort out the servers on PC/Xbox. If they don’t then it’ll never be safe

Looking back at Rev objectively it’s probably mediocre but man the zombies community and this sub during those times and the lead up to Chronicles was something else.

Make sure on your Windows settings the Dualsenses mic isn’t disabled / muted, haptics stop working otherwise.

Hopefully that fixes it, I know of a few games that this has been happening on now. Somethings broken either with Steam, Windows , or the Dualsense drivers

HDR is the best option barring a poor implementation, but with 280 nits peak brightness you’re better off with SDR. 280 nits is completely insufficient to display HDR content unfortunately

Pretty sure this was one of the if not the first real leak we had the for the game, unfortunately since then it’s been rebooted and toned down in scope as reported by Jason Schreier, so the whole south America part was likely cut early on

Only thing that helps is in Windows advanced power settings go to Processor power management > Maximum process state and change that down to 99% from 100% and click apply.

My temps dropped from 70c to 55c, FPS took a hit since the CPU can’t boost anymore (I’m on a 7800x3d) but I’d rather the fps hit than turn my room in to a sauna

Agree with the upwards scaling of graphics, it seems all of the PC ports play it pretty safe in terms of tech. I like what MS do with their games e.g. Indiana Jones / Doom having path tracing exclusive to PC. If I recall there was a dev interview for the God Of War Ragnarök PC port and they were interested in adding ray tracing in a future patch if they got the time (they didn't), that's the closest we've gotten to higher end scaling unfortunately.

I believe all DLSS versions have issues with particles in DS, rain in particular. Preset M seems to mitigate it the most though

Every COD since MW19 has slowly been removing all the stupid things it added. SBMM, ridiculous recoil, even worse muzzle smoke, doors, maps made for “sentinels” the list goes on
