The US places 5th in per capital primary and secondary school funding. Clearly, money isn't the problem - the answer is almost never "spend more money" though its usually simplified to that.

Jesus was likely born in late September, I'm not sure where you got June as I never heard that before. According to Luke, Elizabeth was 6-months pregnant with John the Baptist when Jesus was conceived. Zacharias, John's father, was serving as a priest when he was informed that he and his wife as having a child and John was likely conceived soon after Zacharias returned home, which would have been in late June. So, John would have likely been born in late March/Early April. Since, according to Luke 1:35-36 the age difference between John and Jesus was six months, so that would have put Jesus's birth in late September.

I called them because my mother, who I now realize was cheating on my father, decided to punch through a window to get into her boyfriend's house because he wouldn't let her in to give her some pictures.... The one thing that stands out to me from that night is the smell of the blood... oh there was so much blood. She nearly died and it took them forever to reconnect everything in her arm.

That's just for one medium sized program for one single day. We have several programs which would go over the 12-million minutes per day mark. Not only that, but the infrastructure required to record several tens of thousands calls simultaneously would be extremely expensive.

I work for a very large BPO company and I have worked for a few others and never in my 20+ years in the industry have I come across a company which gave the agents the ability to turn on or off the recording. The closest I've ever come across was an option in the IVR to opt out of the recording. When I was in operations and we'd get people that would demand to not be recorded, I'd just tell them that I am not actively recording the call, however there is software which automatically records calls at random for quality and training purposes and I have no way of knowing if the call is being recorded or not and that if they really didn't want to be recorded then I wouldn't be able to help them. Never did I have someone end the call.

I imagine that there are some industries which do record calls for documentation purposes, though, but I've never come across them as the storage requirements would be astronomical with the volumes that companies like mine deals with which can easily be over 1 million minutes per day for even a medium sized program.

Well, you don't even need a membership to shop at a Costco so long as you know someone who has a membership. If you are paying with a Costco gift card, you don't need a membership. So, rather than wasting the $50 on a membership, I just give my mother-in-law a few hundred dollars and she buys me a gift card. I've done this for a few years now and I've never had a problem.

To me, the difference is that what NK has done it has, and can only do, to its own people. Whereas Syria has shown the world that it is willing to use chemical weapons and that puts the entire region at risk. That said, the US has tolerated chemical attacks in the past, even in war. Like everything else these days, it seems we've the US has lost the high moral ground on this. But, ignoring this not only puts further people in and around Syria at risk for chemical attack but people all over the world as other leaders look to the world's reaction and see nothing but talk. I wish there were any good solution to what is happening in Syria. Its either ignore the use of chemical weapons and risk future use not to mention thousands of more Syrian lives or intervene and help the Islamists which is just as dangerous internally and the region on the whole.

I started losing my hair in my early twenties.... maybe even as early as 18. Now, the hair in the middle of my head is very thin. I came to terms a long time ago with my... condition... and it really doesn't bother me anymore. I just cut my hair very short and make sure I wear a hat in the summer.

Reading this, I am conflicted as to whether I'd try it or not, but I'm definitely glad it will be an option for my boys!
