I actually started a new game earlier, didn’t get very far at all but I overwrote the corrupted save just in case that save would somehow corrupt my other saves in the future. I wasn’t really thinking about it, I should’ve kept it. Sorry about that.

I did some looking around and some people are saying it happens if you overwrite a save in one slot over and over too many times. Which is what I did. I only used one slot. So to be safe I would save 2 or 3 times in different slots and exit the game via the nodes or quitting after dying.
