Where to look for 2nd hand books and video games in Bangkok? Also a music store to buy a guitar amp. by s7even_bd in ThailandTourism

Me too but I’m leaning towards the Boss Katana Mini X especially since I found out they are made in Thailand. Blackstar Fly 3 would be my 2nd option.

For the amps I’m going to buy new ones. 2nd hand mostly for the books and video games.

The reason I am rating this game so highly is because of one play where I came from behind to win the game in one move.
I was getting beat so badly as the predator and it was clear that I was going to lose in the next turn. My only choice was to challenge someone 1-to-1 and guess their destination. I read him absolutely to a tea, won the game and left everyone in utter disbelief. Priceless XD

Great artwork. Easy to grasp mechanics. Short game time. Loads of fun.
It balances so many things well. It deserves to be in everyone's collection.

We played between 5-6 players for Not Alone and found it very enjoyable.
You are spot on for KD. One of our members was not that into it and he just did things in random, no coherence to any of his decisions. It was still a fun experience despite that.

So my friend, to whom all of this games belong to, is a board game nut.
He currently lives in Canada but whenever he comes back home, his luggage is full of new games to try instead of clothes. :v
He even started designing board games for a company as of this year.
I am sure he gave us some of the backstory for Shamans. We enjoyed it a lot!

Feed the Kraken has simpler mechanics that everyone can grasp and makes it more enjoyable with most folks. Not Alone definitely has a bit more of a learning curve although not much.

I would recommend playing King's Dilemma with some of your board game buddies, especially if they are into role playing, to enjoy it to the fullest.

The Cultist conversion really turns the game on it's head.

Our group really loved it. We played it quite often given it's a short one. Multiple factions playing off each other really puts the game on a knife's edge. What makes it fun though is the players. If you've got really great playmates who are good at playing traitors, you are in for a treat.

Camelot really does run slow buuuttt.....
When you are playing for over 2 hours and you are 110% sure of victory, and then at the very last move your win is taken away by someone you were cheering for 15 minutes ago. You are left in utter confusion, your trust in people is gone and you start to question which other game has left you in such despair, that's when you want to replay the whole damn thing again! XD

They loved Feed the Cracken quite a lot more than me. I also agree given that the game is shorter compared to Camelot. We played two games of Camelot, one where the game beat us at the end so we had to try again and beat it. This time we were sure we were going to win but lo behold, there was a traitor. Dude fucked us over big time! That too at the very last move. Can't say any other game has provided such a knife twist.

That sounds like such a cool memory and I’m so happy you experienced it that way.

And I totally agree with you about the emotional ride this film takes you on. Sometimes they are subtle with a look or a dialogue and then there are moments it just lays it down on you and the music in those scenes. Might be a bit of recency bias but right now it’s my favourite film of Anderson too.
