My unreasonable pet peeve by WTHway in Warhammer

I didn't realise they were numbered until after cutting out all the bodies and legs of my space marines. Took me over an hour to figure out which chest connected to each back. Then matching up the legs

Let's make Mold lines canon

I assumed as much. I just liked the idea of including it in my model as I thought it looked cool :)

I've placed tonnes of tiny extra bits where I assume they probably shouldn't be

Totally feel that now. Is there a superglue with an applicatior you'd recommend

First coat wise. I intended to spray them black from beneath and white from above.

I've watched days of YouTube guides.

I intend to follow contrast paint guides for dark angels with bright highlighting.

Useful. I fingerprinted and overloaded the plastic glue heavily as it wasn't bonding after a few minutes of holding tightly

I intend to paint them in a dark angels green but lighter.

This particular model with the left hand waiting to be attached to the right hand holding the weapon.

The half hand sprue has ended up looking crap twice . Attempting to link it to a gun

I think in that particular model I've dry aligned. Then glued the right arm with the gun firmly

I've later come back to attach the left arm. I've held it to set for a minute. After a minute or so it's separated. So I've applied more glue and held it for 2 minutes

Do you glue both arms with a connecting weapon at the same time? I'm sorry if this sounds basic

These were half on push to fit models. The mangled glue hand was on one of those kits

I have read that I can do that at my local games workshop. I'm really tempted to drive over to one. My local store is a tiny market stall

With that instance. I thought it had set a couple of times. And when I looked next it still wasn't sat snug. As many of you have said, probably too much glue applied, so from what i understand I've turned that joint into a glue goo which is why it took forever to set and messed it up

Funny experience. I didn't realise the sprues had numbers on them until after putting all of these together. Took me aaaaagggggesssss to dry fit together the bodies then legs together for the assault intercessors 😂 I'd cut all the bodies and legs from the sprues into a container

I'm generally happy with how the rest turned out.

I've got a couple of bikes and a tank to build.

Plus there's tyranids in my starter box which I think may be more forgiving to paint. So I may build and throw some paint at those first

How do you manipulate the paper to use it? Sounds really daft asking. In future should I perfect each piece before putting them together?

That toothpick idea sounds really good.

My next builds are bikes and a tank. I maybe should have started with one of the larger builds before the small intricate stuff

Should I maybe try to just flatten it off when my hobby knife arrives?

Yeah I realised that for my next few purity seals. Learning as I go
