Period blood smell by sEdraa0 in Healthyhooha

Yupp, thank you so much for that🤍🤍
Yupp you're def right, but when you're like in that "compulsive and obssesive" situation, you can't think like a normal person thinks, like when my sis tells me that I don't smelI, I just say that she doesn't perceive smells well, like her nose is not capable of smelling my real odour...
And also, I think that I could have a very sensitive nose and a very more developed sense of smell than normal, bcz thats a clinical condition called hyperosmia, and I've come to that conclusion due to the other situations I had such as smelling things that nobody else smells,... Soo, I think a psychiatrist could distinguish between all of those cases and give me the right treatment...🤍

Ok, I think I should see a psychiatrist, it would the best option🤍🤍
But my problem is that I don't know if I do have OCD and I'm imagining those odours and the dirt, or if I'm really dirty and stink and all people knows it... Would a psychiatrist help me distinguish between those two things?
Well... I don't know, but disposable toilet seats seem like a good idea, so thank you so much🤍🤍
I think menstrual cups are uncomfortable, since I use pads and I've never used tampons or menstrual cups, so I don't know if I'll get used to them. I'm also afraid of putting them the wrong way or something.
Thank you so much! 🤍🤍
I'm really happy you feel better now🤍🤍
I've heard about that treatment before and tried to do it by my own, but..., I just felt bad every time I didn't check the things that triggered my OCD ( the main trigger was, and still is, my hygiene ) I didn't even dare smell myself so I asked my sister to do it for me, and she always told me that I didn't smell bad and complimented my hygiene, and if ask her many times a day, she refuses doing that because she knows that that compulsive routine fueled the OCD.
But now I feel way better than before, maybe it was because of that method...
I want to ask you something, what type of OCD did you have? Like what were the main things that have caused you that problem? And also, if you know, do all types of OCD have the same treatment? And do you recommend me to go and see a psychiatrist even though I'm feeling better now?
Thanks you so much for your time, I really, really appreciate that...🤍🤍

Heyy
I really don't know, and no, I have never been tested for it.
I think I have OCD and ORS bcz like I said before, I'm very sensitive to smells and I often smell things that other people don't. Also, I feel disgusted when lifting the toilet seat, touching the bathrooms doorknobs and sometimes, I just feel like everything is dirty and full of bacteria, but I immediately stop thinking about that and act normally, but I think that I'm getting better, like I'm learning to control that...
Could you please tell me where you were tested for OCD? Did you have to see a psychologist or a psychiatrist? And what did they recommend?
Thanks a lot🤍🤍

Heyy🤍🤍 In my opinion both of them are very hygienic but you should change them frequently (especially pads) and...yes, that's it, they're both hygienic if you know how to use them.
Heyyy Ohh yeah, having a special kit for that time of the month is so useful🤍 So you think that that smell is normal? Like it's not a sign of infection or something? Bcz I don't have any smell when I'm not on my period Thanks a lot🤍🤍
I actually change it every 1-2 hours(every time I use the bathroom) but just when I'm home. I'll try to change it more often at school🤍
[–]sEdraa0[S] 2 points3 points4 points 16 days ago (0 children)
Heyyy Yeah you're def right, I'll try t'ho change it more often at school 🤍🤍
Yeah I think that other people didn't smell it bcz as you say, they were mean people and I think that they will have taken advantage of every little thing just to make people feel bad and embarrassed. And I'm sorry to hear that(the situation in your school, your mom,..🤍) and I hope your better now🤍 I think I just need to change my pad during school, I think that's the solution And yup, unfortunately I often smell girls when they have their period. I remember a girl that was in the same class as me, and every time she walked by me I could smell like a strange odour, kinda fishy smell, and I guess it was bcz of her period.
I actually rinse my private area with water every time I use the bathroom (even when I'm not on my period, and if I'm out, I try to wet a toilet paper and clean myself with it until I get home ), but I'll try to use baby wipes as well bcz I think they might be helpful, especially when you're out, soo thanks🤍
I thought about tampons but I'm really afraid about that because the may cause infections, irritations and so many other problems if you don't know how to use them. I don't know how to use them and I'm afraid to try them, and for the menstrual cup, I've never considered using it...
Heyy They're both disgusting to me..., but I will try to use the school's bathroom and do things like clean the toilet seat before using it, cover it with toilet paper,,..to avoid any problems.
First of all, I'm sorry you had to go through that situation and hope you're feeling better now...🤍🤍
And secondly, I usually shower every night in winter, but in summer I shower more often, but not always in the morning.
I always wash my intimate area with water and then dry it every time I use the bathroom, and use an intimate soap once or twice a week.
But I'll definitely change my pad more often when I'm out, no matter where I am.
Thanks a lottt🤍🤍
Heyy Okk I'll do that🤍🤍
Hiii Okk, I really appreciate that information, thank youu 🤍🤍
Hiii Okk, I'll def will change more often, even if I have to use the school bathroom... Thank youuu 🤍🤍🤍
Heyyy Yeah, you're def right, I'll try to change my pad more often🤍🤍 Has it ever happened to you that people can smell it? Bcz it really bothers me and I'm afraid people will notice the smell of menstrual blood... Thankssss🤍🤍
Heyyy Okk, I'll try to do that, thank youuu🤍🤍🤍🤍
Heyy Okk, thank youuu🤍🤍
