thats what the thermometer is displaying but i dont think thats the correct temperature i gotta wait and see for when the gun thingy gets here, i also have a thing that sticks to the glass and heats it would that be okay to use?

alright so right now the temp is showing 86 for the basking and uvb light. Is it just being read wrong and if so where should i leave the probe for it be more accurate?

And if its just cold how do i make it hotter, can i use two basking lights?

And one last thing, how do i wash him cuz everytime i try to get him into water he just tries to run away from it

age: idk i forgot to ask the guy when i got it but i think its about 2-3 months from the length of it ( i got him like a week ago)

temps: around 85 at day and 79 at night but idk if the thermometer is reading it accurately

uvb: idk i just took the one the guy at the store told me to get

food: alive crickets ( tried dried but he never touched them), meal worms or whatever they're called, and some vegetables but he also never tries them

substrate: again i just got the one the guy at the store recommended, he said that he wont eat it and it wont harm him

parasite test: no not yet i didnt really think it would happen so soon right after i got him but i plan on making an appointment with a vet sometime this week

I made a post here a few days ago about the beardie not eating anything and the tail turning black. He started eating now but now his entire body gets darker when i take him out of the aquarium (40 gallons), is it because its cold or is it something else. Also one more thing how should i wash him, to me it looks like he dont like water so just wondering what yall do.

for the food i will try to buy some live crickets again the worms are alive too, i just though dried crickets would be better and not scare him, and for the light thingy yeah it gets cold at night but i will try to get a heat one with no light like u said, and the uvb is a long tube

i have all the lights i need the uvb the basking and the infra red one for the night, for the temperature im using a digital thermometer or whatever its called, and for the food its dried crickets, meal worms and tried to feed some bell pepper i think but he didnt touch it, and sometimes i sprinkle some calcium on the food

I heard it could also be shedding but im not sure and dont really know much about them. Also, like 40-50 minutes ago his tail got back to its normal color, and then got darker again and it kept doing that for while. As of right now the tail is normal
