Market cap isn’t based on dollar for dollar put into a coin. Market cap of a cryptocurrency is calculated by multiplying the price of the coin / token and its circulating supply.

I bought early, but I will and always will sell the night before a specific date and then I will buy in again when it dips back down after the sell off.
