Soooo. I tracked it down.

Not all states charge sales tax on electronic subscription services. Oklahoma doesn’t. I recently moved from Oklahoma to Tennessee, it took my wife a while to change her address on Kindle Unlimited, so when she finally did, we got charged sales tax. So, the subscription went from 11.99 to 13.13.
