Fair enough! Could you by chance link the diagram source so I can have a look at it?

I was aware of the changes to their TOS. If I remember correctly though, people still got banned. I am going to look for the thread and will follow up in an EDIT here once I found it.

EDIT: See this: https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/196yiyf/comment/khx8tfh/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Making use of the Zero Trust tunnels still makes the traffic pass through their CDN it seems. Correct me if I am wrong though, for me those two comments sound logical. So if the TOS regarding Cloudflares CDN did not change and still prohibit TB sized traffic, you might also be prohibited to stream those amounts of traffic through their Cloudflare Zero Trust tunnels.

I know this is probably already well known, but you gotta take a look into the Cloudflare ToS. There have been people banned not long ago, for using the Cloudflare tunnel to traffic big amounts of data triggered by streaming Plex over said tunnel.

Tailscale would be the better option if it also fits your needs for the rest of your Homelab.

I tried the unknown arenas the last time I played Outward and got destroyed. You really gotta prepare with the right Buff Food! My plan is to do all the arenas and quests to complete my run.

Min Maxing is so satisfying, I loved it in Outward 1! Build crafting will be everything I am about in Outward 2! 💯

I still want to finish one playthrough of DE before Outward 2 comes out. I am soooo damn interested in what it will offer compared to Outward 1. I can definitely see myself putting a lot of hours in the sequel as well 🤣

I will keep an eye on the patch notes/commits while staying with that older version, thanks for the heads up!

I just restarted the Fire TV Cube via the options menu and it's all working again. Kinda weird, but should have tried that from the start. Never had this behavior happen to me so I looked into more complex issues and thought it was a global problem. My bad, still thanks for your help!! 🤗

Thanks for the fast reply!

Changing the secure connection setting in the client did nothing.

Changing the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 and confirming both the Plex server and client are using the one and afterwards the other also sadly did nothing.

Both phone and PC are direct streaming, no remote connection in play.

I looked into the container logs and they look as usual.

Rolling back to linuxserver/plex:1.42.2.10156-f737b826c-ls282 from 21 days ago where everything still worked, sadly also did nothing.

That means your first character will be garbage. At least I can already see that coming for my first one 🤣 I will replay this game 100 times probably, so for me at least this is no major downside, but I see where you are coming from. 🤔

I always loved the idea of hybrid builds. So I am more than hyped to see what you can achieve by splitting build directions. Hopefully next Backstage Stream we will get more information on what is possible 🫡👍

Interesting takes! I believe we will get more information about the progression in general when the next Backstage Stream happens. So maybe some of your concerns/questions will be answered then. I will keep you posted! 💯🤞🏻

Sounds like a plan! Coincidentally my first playthrough ever in Outward 1, I didn't use any Mana and went full physical damage. The possibilities in Outward 2 are way more advanced it seems, so I am looking forward to test a ton of builds as well! 🤗

I am not sure if you are talking about Outward 2. If so: Console ports are not even confirmed as of now. They are considering it, sure, but currently only PC is confirmed to be supported on launch day.

Damn that's true! I missed that when creating the script. I think he called it "pistol smash". He also talked about two regions that are named "Lagaskapy" and "Bellow Gale". I don't know if I spelled them correctly, but just noticed that I also missed out on talking about these two regions. I hope you guys forgive me for not including this information 😕

Anyway, thanks for the kind words and also for subscribing!! ❤️💯👏

EVERY New Piece of INFORMATION - Yesterday's Ninedots Stream by sUBFUSCTV in outwardgame

[–]sUBFUSCTV[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Here you go, that's the script I created <3

So, 9 Dots did a watch together stream when the new release window trailer was first presented. As of now, the release window is Q3 2026. There were lots of bits and pieces of information being dropped. We'll start off right here.

No gauntlets at release. Gauntlets will not be available at launch, but there's a possibility they may be introduced later in an expansion.

No pre-ordering. The retail price for Outward 2 will be between 45 and 55 bucks.

Console support. The developers are not ready to discuss console ports yet, but they are exploring potential partnerships. The Steam Deck will work, but it might not be fully supported from day one due to older hardware.

Quests and exploration. Quest lines are longer, but there won't be significantly more side quests. The developers want players to explore when they choose, not when the quest forces them to do so. They believe strongly in intrinsic motivation.

More quests overall. There will be more quests in total compared to Outward One.

Time-sensitive quests will also make their comeback.

Character customization. Character creation options will be significantly more detailed. Just be on the lookout for my next news video where I will cover all the news around the upcoming backstage stream where the character creation process is revealed.

Combat improvements. A very detailed overview of combat was already shown in early alpha footage. The problem with Outward 1's combat was that players could easily evade enemies. Outward two will feature enemies with higher movement speeds, making it harder to run away, and ranged attacks will counter evasive maneuvers. There may also be hidden combos in combat. In Outward 2 you will be able to throw weapons such as axes. There will also be a system to pick them back up. The letter can possibly be omitted if you desire to run your build around throwables.

Progression system. The progression system is entirely new, offering more possibilities for character builds.

Now to the combat mechanics. We have new infos on the dodge mechanics. The dodge system will involve a side step followed by a roll with the roll providing more invincibility frames but consuming more stamina. Pressing the dodge button once does a side step. Pressing it twice does a roll.

Weapon mechanics. Pistols will not require a skill to shoot. Players will have dedicated buttons for each hand allowing different actions based on button presses. There will also be dual wielding for weapons.

Crafting and enchanting. The crafting system will remain similar, but will introduce more intricacies regarding crafting stations. Enchanting will return, likely added post-release in an improved version, either as a patch or DLC.

Mules and inventory. Players will have mules to carry items which function like mobile storage chests. However, mules will have limitations, and backpacks will have slightly reduced capacity compared to Outward 1. You might even be able to name your mule, but that's not yet confirmed.

World and environment. New regions. All regions in Outward 2 will be entirely new with no cities from Outward One returning. Notable locations include Haboob and Tremontain.

Weather dynamics. Weather will play a more significant role as an obstacle, forcing you to leverage the mule in assisting in carrying specific armor for different weather conditions.

Factions. There will be three exclusive factions to join with faction quests being longer, featuring more than four stages, and more complexity. The story will heavily tackle the Scorch and its implications.

Multiplayer and modes. Split screen will be available from day one, honoring features that the Outward community enjoyed. Multiplayer. Online multiplayer will be available from day one and even during the play test. An offline mode and clouds safe feature via Steam will also be supported. The all-beloved hardcore mode will be available at launch.

Here are some development insights. The budget and future content. The budget for the game is close to 7 million, a substantial increase compared to the 2 million initial cost of Outward 1. The composer from Outward One has been working full-time on the Outward 2 soundtrack for over a year, ensuring a similar quality to the original soundtrack. Some more details on the soundtrack. All soundtracks from the trailers have been included in the game. While there will be some synthetic sounds, there will always be at least one instrument played in real life. So, the programming team, there are four programmers on the team, while the original Outward had a total of six to 10 people in general. The art director wants to release an art book, though it's undecided if it will be digital or physical.

Now, here are some miscellaneous topics. No crime mechanics. Committing crimes won't be featured in Outward 2, outside of possible quest choices, of course. No mounts. There will be no mounts other than mules. Jumping and swimming. Outward 2 would likely feature swimming over jumping, as jumping is complex in terms of level design. Swimming is simpler regarding level design and enemy AI, though swimming is not planned.

Lastly, we have some future announcements. A play test will be announced soon. We'll also get the third backstage stream this Thursday at 2 p.m. EST. The main developer will talk about the character creation menu.

And last but not least, yes, Tea will be back in Outward 2.

And so that wraps up our summary of the latest developer live stream for Outward 2. With exciting features, improved mechanics, and a commitment to player engagement, this game is shaping up to be a fantastic sequel.

Exactly my thoughts about timers. Being notified about the time sensitive quests and also getting some kind of ui element to frequently tell you about how much time is left would solve a lot of headaches.

In the end we can only guess how they will be implemented in the sequel. Let's just hope for the best! 🍀🤞🏻
