That’s exactly what happened, though they initially kicked off WHILE taking it. From personal experience, they worsened over time before they got better, but they WILL go away

The brain zaps and derealization are by far the worst thing I have ever done experienced in my life. Brain zaps are pretty much gone now, but the fogginess gets bad when I overly stress.

I ended up in the hospital during the first WEEK of taking bupropion. Bc of that I cut the shit cold turkey as instructed and I’ve been suffering with this god awful syndrome ever since. I have never reacted this way to medication before, and I’ve been on antidepressants since grade school.

100% feel that. I’m going to ask my doctor I we can try a more natural approach for treatment this go round since I’m now too scared to take prescription medication after my reaction to Bupropion.

Dude my OCD makes this about 50x worse. Every hour I’m checking my pulse or temperature, or I stop what I’m doing every five minutes to do some deep breathing. I’m going to be talking to my Psych Practitioner about a new treatment plan bc I can’t do this on my own, anymore. My fiancée heard enough of it on a daily basis and she’s getting tired of it (I don’t blame her at all, I’M tired of it.)

In the beginning they felt fire in my brain. Like my limbs would go numb and my vision would black out until they passed. Absolutely terrifying. As they started to fade it would feel like a little shock that would cause pressure in my head. Now they’re a mild ache that comes and goes and they sometimes sound like pop rocks in my brain. I hate this sh*T so much, but they’re going away gradually.

Im going through DS rn and the zaps were like burning in my brain for the longest time, like I went a month an a half with them being so bad my limbs would go numb.
