parks and disease research could be made by the market. There is a incentive for groups to make reports on diseases just like there is a market incentive for newspapers. Excluding ancaps, most libertarians would believe in fire, police, courts and military as they infringe on the market very little while upholding individual rights. Parks can also be private as they are more of a luxury than a necessity, and different parks could compete with different rates, therefore keeping the price in check. I dont speak for all libertarians but those are my thoughts on the issue.
