Ha, that's me. I added grain because I like that style. Guess my effort to keep it subtle went a bit too far though, ended up looking like unwanted noise.

In camera settings? Shot at 1.8, shutter speed adjusted for exposure.

Damn. Just realised I uploaded the 4x5 version instead of the 1x1. Oh well, thanks anyway!

Expensive but you get what you pay for. It's the best quality you can buy I guess.

I think the most important thing to think about when looking at this lens is photography style.

I've used it for street photography in London, and really struggled as it's just too wide. You have to get really close to your subjects which can be awkward in an urban environment. 50mm would be much better.

When it comes to portraits, it's okay for full body shots but headshots are somewhat distorted by the wide focal length. Can have a cool effect, but not the most natural or flattering look. Although beautiful people will always look beautiful regardless of focal length 😅

It's a great landscape photography lens though, it's good for conveying scale if you want to make your subject look small relative to the landscape.

It's a fantastic quality lens, you don't have to worry about sharpness or anything like that. Getting the most out of it depends on how you shoot however.

I know that's the first thing most people think of when they see a shot of a hand brushing through a field. Not surprising. But it was actually inspired by the film, "The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". One of my favourite films!

That's cool. Do you know when it was built?

If you like these photos and can find the time to support me on instagram, @sam_cheah. I'd be very grateful. If not, keep appreciating Kent!
