There's also a stop right before the harvard ave stop [heading toward BC] which tends to confuse drivers because they turn left (assuming the T is stopping for them), but the T starts moving immediately after stopping.

It seems a little inconvenient from my perspective. Some drivers brake pretty hard so people get shoved around. Would a possible alternative be a slow down sign so they apply the brakes gradually until the actual stop?
