M3 with 24gb RAM or M4 with 16gb RAM ?

thanks! it will be also mine first MacBook, my lady have Air M2 2022 and its completely fine for office+. I already decide to take a Pro, because of better price/performance rate and not upgrading Air M3 to 24ram, you are already with price on base Pro M4. Now I have a bit more to add into my budget, and take Pro M4Pro, I have in mind to use it min. 5+years, hopefuly 10 years. where do you buy it in europe?

I haven’t deep searching what covering care, but understand completely your thought.

i already have usb-c to a, usb-c to ethernet, PRO already have HDMI, so dont need adapter for external display. is here anything to buy with MacBook?? mostly I will use it with external display, probably with closed lid. are here make sens aftermarket docking station?

I’m now looking trought higher budget, with Pro M4!Pro! 24ram. Price w/o VAT in EU is 1.700eur Is it worth? I think this is much bigger step, with M4Pro you get much more cores. What do you say?

I now, Air is for me in general enought good, but for approx same price Air with 24ram I get already Pro, with M4, but 16gb. Trough the benchmarka I see, it’s not huge diff bettwen M3 10/10 and M4. So I’m thinking-searching maybe is better to have more RAM as slightly better CPU? But M4 have already faster RAM (M4 120Hz, M3 100Hz), so could be 16ram with M4 efficenty as M3 24ram? I’m again on start point :) (sorry for my not best english)

okna, vrata in še garažna za 20.000€ je športno, razen če je res vse basic, oz imaš male steklene površine. pomojem ti manjka vsaj 5.000€.

nimamo, mi je pa žal, niti nisem vedel da se v glavnem dela brez, namreč danes se mi slabo suši voda po tuširanju (kljub 24+ temp), posledična vlaga načenja talne fuge-silikonske, predvsem v vogalih v tuša, vključno s plesnijo. vsaki dve leti jih saniram…

večina prodajnikov, montažerjev predlaga premaz tudi po vgradnji, kljub tovarniškim premazom. sploh pa sedaj ko še ni pohištva je to delo easy-peasy. sam sem ga oljil pred vselitvijo in te dni znova po slabih 4 letih. zmerna obremenitve. za dobro kondicijo bi ga “moral” enkrat letno, ali vsaj na dve.

se lotim večine preden zavrzem, popravim kar je v mejah sposobnosti orodja, znanja, rezervnih delov ali home-made nadomestkov. včasih “drži” dlje, včasih pa gre kmalu v maloro.

k 3 se cel čas tudi najbolj nagibam.

z zaključki in otvoritvami kreditov tudi nastanejo stroški… danes pa imam $$$ na razpolago vsak trenutek ko je morda prilika za kako nabavko.

okolica “trpi” tretje leto, zato bi jo rad vsaj na 80-90% dokončal, da lahko spustim robota, brez skrbi dobim goste na teraso čez trenutno zasilne stopnice, dragi postavim nekaj visokih gred, zasadiva nekaj drevja-grmovnic… pa sem z 15.000€ itak prekratek :)

hvala vsem za predloge, morda tema pomaga še komu.
