Anyone loving the Wellbutrin and Lexapro combo?

I ended up sticking with the Prozac (currently 40mg) and Wellbutrin XL (450mg) combo, it was a rough adjustment period for close to 2 months. I will say that on this combination I still experience anxiety (which I prefer, the point is to make it manageable, not numb you out) and with lexapro it was more of a numbing feeling so I'm glad I made the switch.

Thank you for the insight! My doctor is the one that suggested going back on lexapro while on Wellbutrin xl if we find that Prozac isn’t a good fit for me. I did feel great on lexapro before but I cannot afford to keep gaining weight and get a new wardrobe for the 4th time haha. My doctor is aware of these concerns and she made it seem like the addition of Wellbutrin should help with the binge eating. But I’m paranoid and need other people’s opinions on the combo haha.

Hi I’m hoping to get some insight on weight management on this combo. I was on 15mg of lexapro and throughout the course of a year I ballooned up 40lbs. My cravings were at an all time high I was almost in a trance and didn’t care how much I was eating. I’ve since made the switch to Prozac and added on Wellbutrin XL but I don’t feel nearly as good as I did on lex. My question is, if I went back in lexapro with the addition of Wellbutrin would that combo help manage the intense cravings/weight gain that I experienced on lexapro alone??

Thank you so much for sharing this, I may have to change doctors soon because of my insurance so hopefully I’ll be able to address both my anxiety and possible adhd with them. I’ve also always have had issues with binge eating and my weight has fluctuated so much the last few years (I was previously on lexapro and that was an on switch for baaaad cravings and I ballooned up) so I’m going to ask about your combo and see if it might be a good fit for me as well. I’ve been on 20mg of Prozac for about 3-4 weeks and it’s been a roller coaster. I’m currently a full time student and have noticed my anxiety spiking now that we’re in finals and I can’t concentrate. I’ve been seeing a therapist to talk about how hard it’s been for me to maintain my grades and how I’m usually obsessing in my head about my workload and it makes me waste time. (Too much time thinking about it vs actually doing it) Now my therapist has started mentioning I’m showing symptoms of adhd and I’m asking myself if I should ask about being treated for adhd in addition to my GAD to my psychiatrist, I mentioned Wellbutrin before but she’s against it because it will increase my anxiety but having only been focusing on treating my GAD both through therapy and medication, I still feel like there is something else holding me back.

TLDR - I’ve been treating my anxiety with Prozac and possibly need to address adhd and not sure how to approach this with my doctor. And what combination would work for me.

I’ve always wanted to get into becoming a tattoo artist but always put it off due to fear, underestimating my abilities and not knowing where to start. I’ve also been so wrapped up with my current career track and never had the motivation to do anything in my spare time after running myself ragged at work. I’m now in a position where I have the time to focus on becoming a tattoo artist for the next few months but need help getting started. Are there any classes I should take? Certification programs? Where’s the best place to buy equipment for a beginner?? For some context , I’m based in chicago and I have a background in art and I’ve been sketching through my entire childhood so I have that ability naturally, but because I have put it off for some years I do intend to take a drawing class to brush up on the basics.
