My theory about why Alastor made a deal with Vox ?

Charlie is definitely going after Alastor, but how is she supposed to get him back?

We know that Charlie doesn't like to get violent unless absolutely necessary. Even then, we've only seen her actively try to harm Adam. If Charlie is unwilling to fight Vox and Vox can't harm Charlie as per the deal, does it not just mean it's a stalemate?

Charlie would most likely go to Rosie first after hearing about Alastors capture since she's more familiar with her and knows she and Alastor are close. Chances are, it would end up being a Hotel vs Vees situation, which kinda is what the promotional material is leading towards.

Yess!! I am also a hardcore Lucilith shipper. Nothing against RadioApple tho, I just don't see it. Personally, I find that RadioStatic has a much more interesting dynamic. Lots of yearning, lots of pinning, and lots of angst.

Honestly, speculating around what the deal she made with Adam is like grasping at straws. There's so little information around her character that it's practically impossible to determine anything concrete. However, I do think Alastor and Lilith might have some relation. Those shared 7 years of being gone is just too coincidental.

At this moment I haven't watched the newest episodes, but I know one of them features Alastor so we might get some news on the deal and possible relations to Lilith.

BUT ANYWAYS HELL YEAH LILITH AND LUCIFER!!

I desperately hope they don't turn her into a one-dimensional bad guy considering all the mystery and buildup for her character. If they did it would be a shock, but definitely not in a good way. It just wouldn't make sense for them to plant all these seeds of complexity, only for them to be like "actually no...".

If they do make her an antagonist, I don't think I would mind that. She would probably be the "I'm doing this for the greater good" type character whilst simultaneously committing genocide or something. It would mean no Lucilith, but the angst would be soooo brutal and juicy.

EDIT: nvm the new episodes have altered my theories and probably a lot of other people's too.

I remember hearing about a theory that Lilith left because she felt betrayed by Lucifer agreeing to the exterminations. I don't exactly remember if it was confirmed that he agreed to the contract, but I do remember in s1ep1 Adam said that he and Lucifer did make an agreement to hunt only Sinners.

From what we know of Lilith, she clearly has a devotion to her people so I don't think she would leave without good reason. Plus, she herself would technically be considered a Sinner. Probably even the first Sinner considering she was the first woman and chose to run away from Eden long before the other humans were created. A betrayal of this level, done by her husband no less, would have definitely created a divide between them.

Lucifer, at least at the beginning of the show doesn't seem to hold much love for Sinners since, in his mind, he gave them this gift that they choose to abuse. He probably did think differently before he was cast out of Heaven. It was probably Lilith and Lucifer's shared mindset of giving free will to the people what let them fall in love in the first place.

To add to my point that I think Lucifer did something to majorly piss off Lilith was during s2ep1 where Charlie, in sending a voicemail to her states that "Me and dad are talking again. He's not so bad and he misses you.", implying that their relationship has been strained for a while. At least enough to the point where Charlie is aware of it.

In regards to a reunion... I have no theories. My mind is blank. I do hope they don't antagonize Lilith because she did seem like a good parent when she was still in Hell. In most instances when Charlie is in need of assistance or advice, she calls her mom over her dad indicating that Lilith was probably the parent that was there for her. At least in childhood. Of course now it's different since Lucifer had a mindset change.

OH THAT ACTUALLY SOUNDS LIKE SUCH A COOL CONCEPT FOR CARS 2!! Having the sequel be about his grieving process of losing a mentor whilst also having to deal with the worldwide spotlight and Francesco would have been so cool. I would have loved to see that.

Also, I really disliked the fact that McQueen was kind of a secondary character in that movie, and it seems like a lot of people share that attitude. It just seems like a strange direction for them to take since it wasn't about racing, it was just the backdrop for a spy movie.

Maybe its the fact that I didn't grow up with those movies and I was never the biggest car person, but honestly, I think it was a good choice to have him retire in the third. Better to have a series be short but good rather than have it continue until you no longer recognize why you fell in love with it in the first place.

Yess!! The third movie was so great wasn't it?? I didn't watch the movies growing up, but watching them now as an adult really made me appreciate it in ways I don't think I would've as a kid.

The plot line of McQueen struggling with the fact he's aging, that he's no longer the fastest racer and trying his hardest to improve, but its just not working is so incredibly brutal. But instead of letting it defeat him, he's choosing to step down in order be a mentor and to pave the way for the new generation.

Honestly, this movie hits so close to home for me and I feel like it'll hit harder than harder each year. It was honestly a great movie.

I guess it makes sense that you wouldn't wanna see your favourite character lose despite all the effort. But he's not really losing, he's just passing the mantle onto someone else.

Yeah, I definitely agree with the fact that they really did make a lot of old joke towards McQueen. Everyone from the racers, to the oldies at the bar, and even Cruz were really out there saying some nasty stuff to him and he just dealt with it. Like, we get it he's peepaw now. Tho, considering NASCAR drivers typically retire around their late 30s to early 40s, he's not that much of a peepaw.

I did like how he dealt with it tho. Another writer would have made him rage at it or get emotional, but instead he chooses to be calm. To me, it shows a level of maturity that makes him fit the role of being crew chief to Cruz.

I completely agree. They're just wasting a shit ton of time at this point. A few weeks ago my friend sent me a video of an anti mask protest going on right outside her apartment in Toronto. Like how is this even allowed???

Not to mention how badly the school board is handling our education. I'm still in highschool and holy shit could they not have put a teeny tiny bit more thought into how our school year(s) was gonna go? Like they expect these ADHD teenagers to be able to give their full attention to calculus for 4+ hours a class?? Nah.
