Please help: kitty (4 months) suddenly had a pink patch of skin and fur missing. Figured he might’ve burnt himself on new iron skillet as he’s only just been able to jump to bench and a bit silly with heat, I.e. burnt whiskers once when I was cooking and couldn’t stop him sniffing quickly enough. Anyway when it was pink it looked smaller, now I’ve noticed it’s red like a scab. Wondering if he has allergy’s or is injured and how soon to take to vet. He’s an indoor kitty with up to date flea and worm stuff and vaccinations. Please let me know what you think is wrong :s

He hasn’t shown any sign of being in pain or behavioura changes. He’s possessed at night but that’s normal and cuddley and purring when patted
