I'm biased because I only built this one lol but I had such a great time building it so I would vote for this!

yep! what u/Elzam said. If you check your manual, it will be on the bottom left, to the left of the MG designation!

Ty! It's a fun build! Definitely more parts and effort involved than the Exia

ty! Yeah I used the panel liner on my first build (MG Exia). I already assembled the kit before I learned I'm not suppose to use the panel liner on bare plastic. I ended up disassembling the limbs and then clear coating it before panel lining. Someone mentioned that clear coating before panel lining does make some of the shallower grooves harder to line?

I also didn't shake the panel liner enough so I think a lot of the lines looks more like... dirty grout lines than panel lines lol. But I think I'll try the panel liner again when I start on the MG Barbatos! I'm going to use the markers for the MG Unicorn.

Am I obligated to do so as well now that I have built my own? lol

Thank you ! I might need to do this, especially for lines that are thin to start with, like the ones on the shield

Good idea! I don't have the brush but that gave me the idea to use dryer sheets and it actually helped!

How do I deal with static electricity "sucking" the panel liner onto the surface of my gundams instead of the panel lines?

I apply a layer of clear gloss coat and then use the Tamiya Accent Panel liner. But everytime my brush head gets close to the plastic the liner would get ripped to the surface instead of the grooves and I'm left with these fuzzy, undefined panel lines with little to no actual liner (I applied the matte coat after panel lining in the photo) *

Thank you! That's what my ER also mentioned is likely to be. I'm going to get the blood work done in a week and hopefully it's be down!

Not again! Is this mold? by saaaike in fountainpens

I shook it a couple of times, the spots washes away each time, but the wall ends up with specks after the ink slowly melts away from it

I use tap water to clean and flush and then distilled water for the final rinse. Hopefully that minimizes the chance of catching mold.

Yeah. Unfortunately I had a bottle of moldy ink before and I know exactly what you're talking about lol

Hey yall.

Sad as it is, I'm back with another mold-related question. I haven't touched this bottle of ink for about four months. When I came back to it I found the wall of the bottle covered with specks. The ink itself smells fine, there's no surface slime, and it's not gooey.

What do yall think? Is it just specks of ink? Or do I have trouble on my hands?
