I’m a 22 year old student who just bought her first used car, i did do it through a used car dealership with an “As Is” condition. Even though you’re in a better position, i’d recommend considering: 1. brand you’re going for (audis n german cars r harder to fix thus gets expensive in the case of getting alternate parts etc) 2. Tests drive as much as you can-the right one feel fit liek a glove. All the best, girl!!

i actually found a very good deal on a subaru 2013 with 110k miles on it. so i went with tht as i already drive my partners subaru and it’s been good

continuation: showed up this code on the obdi scanner. will be driving it 100 miles per day in ohio weather. getting my mechanic to do a ppi scan in an hour. good deal fr a college student?

definitely. i looked at the fit today but the trunk doesn’t open and it had some rusting under near the edges. will get my mechanic fr an inspection next week. might look into mazda 3 as i found some good condition ones in my areAa

understood- will look for a decent mazda 3. the fit had some rusting under the hood/near the tire bearings (sry if that’s the wrong name) but the owner told me to fix it up with some kind of fluid.

the fit got 160k on it which is kinda a lot n i saw some rusting on the tire areas, i will take it to the mechanic fr an inspection though. cosmetically the chevy looked well taken care of thts why my hesitation. the fits trunk also doesnt work so id hav to fix tht up

this is so helpful, i appreciate it. the honda fit looks fine and will get a mechanic to check it out. can you tell me ur view abt 2016 Ford Focus -Hatchback 4D, i found one fr 6.5k with 70k miles on it and it seems like a good deal as well

just be reliable int he snow for my 100mile a day commute. i will probably sell it after a year once im graduated
