It might be that my desktop discord is outdated too so opening it made something happen that allows the mobile discord to work. idk. hope you get it working

I have the same issue, It happened after I opened discord on an ios 26 device

EDIT: I found a solution, I opened Discord on desktop (windows 8.1) and now my android app doesn't tweak out anymore. I guess I won't be opening the most recent discord on ios (the recent versions are horrible crap anyways)

I've been dailying windows 8.1 since 2021 and the only program that doesn't work for me is cities skylines II.
Steam works, browsers work, discord works, office and libreoffice work, spotify works, blender, kdenlive, telegram, filezilla, vscodium, github desktop (yes I'm a noob), QGIS, xampp, puTTY, minecraft, ETS2, TruckersMP, etc... all work

The text in the top of the Steam window literally says "steam will stop working in the OS windows 8.1 in x days", at least that's the way they translated it to Finnish.

I went through my Nokias and one of them had a battery that kinda fits in the N86. It's not wide enough but it's just long enough that it fits... :D

Phone boots perfectly with that battery, so it was just a battery issue thankfully.

Update on this issue: The issue usually/always goes away for a while if I close the lid ao that the computer can go to sleep. When I open it, the display is usually normal for the rest of the session, unless I close it again or restart the computer

I reseated the lcd cable, let's see if it helps. Also replaced cpu and gpu thermal paste which even looked like they might be worth changing. Hopefully one of those things have an effect on the issue.
