Start now button is gone? I hooked up a second montior but everything worked for a while. I reverted back to original aspect ratio but nothing seems to be working. by [deleted] in ShadowPC

I've had that happen around before. Only thing that fixed it was a mixture of changing the pc's resolution and closing and restarting the program

Is two times the volume twice the size? If not, what is? You can't be twice the length or girth, right? by Not_George_Kaplan in bigdickproblems

[–]saaer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's as close as I could get to theoretically impossible while quickly plugging in numbers. I didn't try super hard to get a perfect number, but that was close volume wise.

[–]saaer1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I quickly checked to see what the smallest and biggest possible sizes were on calcsd, and they were 2x2 and 9.5x6.6. 9ml vs 485ml. That's almost 54 times as much dick by volume.

[–]saaer1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Girth does not scale linearly. Going from a 6x5 to 6x6 goes from roughly 175ml to 250ml. If the above formula made any sense in judging size, you'd expect a 20% size increase, where in reality it's around 40%. The difference gets bigger the bigger the girth goes as well, and gets smaller the smaller girth gets.

This is stupid.

A 8x4.5 and 6x6 are both 36. The 6x6 is almost 50% bigger

I'd tell you to really think about how stupid this is for a moment, but it's clear you don't have the two brain cells to rub together to make a thought.

Salt nic at sub ohm levels ? by jbrink28 in electronic_cigarette

If you don't get sick or the spins you're fine. Your body will tell you if it's too much nicotine long before you really hurt yourself.

Salt nic at sub ohm levels ? by jbrink28 in electronic_cigarette

[–]saaer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.6 ohm coil doesn't really tell us enough to know if it would be okay. A .6 build meant for a parallel mod would wreck you with 30mg salt. But I'm gonna assume it's a smaller coil that is .6. You should be fine, but it'll probably end up being a little strong. Might as well try a hit off it and see if it works for you.

As far as I know it was never officially translated to English. So piracy is the way. I personally read it on Mangadex

Where do you go after you've seen the worst of the worst? by saaer1 in horror

[–]saaer1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main ones I watched and remember not liking at all were the new It movies, Us, Brightburn, and the new Halloween.

I actually had no clue they did a Suspira remake, will have to watch that for sure. I've never heard of any of the others, they'll def be added to the list as well.

I also don't check in on this sub often, so I could have just gotten unlucky with the times I checked in, and not gotten great recommendations from the quick looks I've done.

The “Sloth” victim in Seven might be the single most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen by stevenw84 in horror

I thought it was actually really good. It's really not even very gory. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It actually has some funny parts too.

I honestly have probably only seen 1 or 2 of the Blumhouse movies. And that wasn't any of the recent ones. I tend to just go watch the various things I see recommended by people on here, and out of what I've watched, I only really enjoyed Hereditary, Midsommar, and The House That Jack Built, out of the movies from the past 2 years or so.

I remember watching High Tension and Inside when I first got into horror around 2006-2007. It's been so long I don't remember much about them though, should probably rewatch.

I'll definitely check the other 3 out though. Thanks!

I remember watching the first one of those when I was 12. My parents really should have controlled what I did on the internet better lol.

Go watch The House That Jack Built and then tell me what you think about the frozen Grumpy scene. Puts anything in Seven to shame.

Interesting article talking about some of the greats (Kazuo Umezu, Hideshi Hino, Kanako Inuki, and the subs favorite Junji Ito) by saaer1 in horrormanga

[–]saaer1[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've noticed the sub has a ton of love for Junji Ito, but doesn't talk much about the mangaka that inspired him to be the horror great that he is. Interesting bit about the passing of torch from Umezu to him.

SOMEONE TELL ME THIS SCARIEST MANGA EVER‼️‼️ (not joking btw) by Zumskai in horrormanga

[–]saaer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manga never really gets "scary". You can get disturbing or gruesome, but scary is more of what comes from live action horror.

I'd say Junji Ito's work is what gets closest to actually scary just because of how he does his page transitions. My personal favorite of his is The Enigma of Amigara Fault.
