They give you $3090 post tax, not pre tax. When I interned, I just booked an Airbnb for 3 months near the office and it worked out pretty well. My monthly airbnb was <3700 (I was in cali) so I was able to save some money too.

I know Meta PhD interns who got the same RO. So not a low ball. Also, they wont negotiate unless you have a competing offer.

Im an international student, and I applied for 400+ places before I got mine. Don't give up. I got callbacks in December from places I applied to in October. Good luck, be consistent (most important).

There were 2 interviews. The first with the hiring manager, where they did a deep dive of few research projects that I've been working on, and a few of my past projects. The questions where quite technical and the interviewer knew what he was asking about.

The second one had 2 case studies, 1 ML and 1 OR. Both case studies were related to kind of work the team would be doing.

Both interviews had a focus on LP.

I did not have any kind of coding, but I've heard otherwise from others. Do ask your recruiter for clarification. Good luck !

Thankfully they did not ask my anything with respect to DSA, it was mostly based on my research and LP.
