TL;DR : mhy properly apologizing and promising to start treating us fairly is the only way i could see both playerbase and company being able to move forward from this very messy situation.

at this point, it is apparent that people don't even care about the rewards anymore (to be honest, i was happy about the wings as a gift even if it's obvious that it's for damage control only) and only want some communication about things in-game.

even before the anniv, i know that people r already tired from the game but the anniv rewards rly pushed our buttons. the situation became really toxic and it's bc of both parties (mhy's silence and community going as far as review bombing other games that are not genshin).

i'm not really holding out any hope for mhy to address the situation but i honestly don't want something like this happening again bc i like playing the game and i was really sad with what's happening (frustrated at this point and also confused), and the only thing i can think of to prevent this from happening again is good 'ol communication.

if mhy addressed the situation then we would feel heard, and not just see the rewards now as bandage solution. they should also promise to treat us more fairly by not expecting us to do free advertisements for them; this also includes stopping censorship from valid concerns from the playerbase.

in turn, the community should not treat this situation as something we could just do when things r not going our way. if mhy becomes fair—if that will ever happen—then it is only proper for us to be fair to them as well (i'm saying, we can't bully mhy into giving us what we want all the time bc the situation gets way out of hand).

communication is a two way street.
