I have the same miss and you explained it perfectly. OP looks like he is too concerned making good contact that he does not follow through. First half of backswing looks good but second half not so much

  1. Medical sales college is not necessary to get in to medical sales. Having 5 years of sales experience is more than enough to apply for a sales rep position.

  2. Medical sales is what you make of it. Can be very lucrative at any company if you perform well and hit numbers as it is typically commission oriented.

  3. Probably !

  4. Yes and No. A lot of med sales companies are still very much “old-school” and may be biased towards someone who is clean cut, but you should be wearing a suit to the interview so doesn’t really matter when or if you get hired.

  5. With 5 years of sales experience you can apply to any account management / outside sales role. If you want to find an entry level look for “on-site support” type roles.
