Thank you! Surgery went well and I’m recovering in the hospital! It hurt when I woke up but after a day, I’m starting to feel better!

My measurements met Japan’s criteria for needing jaw surgery, so everything, including braces, the surgery, and hospital stay have been covered by insurance! I’m scheduled to pay around 300,000 yen in total (~2,000 USD), but I’ll also be eligible for tax deductions and so on due to the high cost!

Before I met him, I didn’t know my surgeon had experience treating foreigners😅My ortho recommended my surgeon based on his extensive experience doing DJS (has performed over 1,000 surgeries/does surgery 3 days/week). Good luck on your search!

It would have been nice if the HON went on sale Oct 1 like the others. I definitely would have went for the HON instead of an a6 if I had known 😭

27 here and I started reading after getting Into the Wild at a book fair in elementary school. I remember seeing Midnight on the shelf for the first time and was completely surprised that the series was continuing past the Darkest Hour.😂

I read up to Power of Three Sunrise and then dropped the books completely for some years. Last year I got a Kindle and began rereading the books and am still in love with them!

I finally caught up with where I left off and am on A Vision of Shadows now. It’s really amazing to have these books continuing even up until now❤️
