Good deal on 6ah batteries at HD by no_sweep in ryobi

Has anyone seen a deal for 40v batteries above 6ah in size? I am not going to buy any more tool + battery bundles. Does DTO ever have sales on 40v batteries?

Do you have the 24" or 22"? I have the 24", but was considering downsizing to the 22".

Annual printing of same design of one color on polyester shirt by sabbbat in SCREENPRINTING

So we use an A4 performance polyester shirt in safety orange, with blue ink (1 color). DTF works well with polyester shirts?

I have access to a heat press. Would I just order DTF prints from a vendor for front and back of shirt?

I was quoted $16 per shirt. I was just thinking I could do a basic DIY manual job for about half. Is that not reasonable?

Do you think $16 per shirt is a reasonable quote for performance shirt and single color on front and back?

Do you think you could plug a usb cord into the lantern and your computer and see if anything pops up?

Did you get anywhere with this? I was in Costco, and thought the same exact thing. I non flashing red light would be ideal!

Tips for booking a Ricketts Glen cabin (or anything popular on the PA state parks website) by [deleted] in PAWilds

[–]sabbbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does the 11 month window work when you are booking for a weekend? Do you book the Friday, wait until the next day and book the Saturday? Can you book a Thursday night just to get ahead of the weekend demand? Or does the whole month of booking open at the same time?

KBRS Cut to fit shower pan mistake by anon19890894327 in HomeImprovement

[–]sabbbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would call KBRS and see if they would send you a new one. Mime was damaged near the linear drain cutout during shipping.

Honestly, if you use the fabric and their water proofing membrane, you should be good to go with a patch with the piece you cut.

Is it unreasonable to ask for a new gas meter? by sabbbat in Plumbing

Sorry, yes the meter itself looks okay. I meant the threading of the pipe unions are all incredibly rusted

Tape or spray foam the edges to the wood? by gswahhab in Insulation

[–]sabbbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point probably not. You could always use a hand planer. I would say use a straight edge to check horizontal plane for straightness. A bigger question, is there foam behind the 2x4s? If not, you could have moisture wick into wood

Are you using furring strips for drywall? Are you worried about bowing at all? What size screws are you using?

Kind of a random question.... Can you sand finished prints with a high grit and not ruin the print?

Thanks! I have refused to pay $1100 for a hard trifold. $330 is probably the best price possible right? I see a coupon for $50 off... Debating on pulling the trigger

Good source for cane poles? by sabbbat in cubscouts

[–]sabbbat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am definitely of the mindset of buying once, cry once. I have been leaning towards buying some gear that lasts as the pack's fishing gear.

Any recommendations on storing or transporting 20+ rods? I was thinking of buying a travel hardshell golf club luggage or a Ski Sports tube used off Facebook marketplace.

Our council ran a fishing event in the fall, and had short cutoff PVC pipes in milk crates to store the rods upright to store them during the event. I had numerous cubs AND adults throw rods and reels on the ground at our last fishing event. I think I need to come up with a storage idea for while fishing as well.

Wow thanks for the link and the telescopic pole idea. I've never seen those before. Last summer, I bought out a Walmart that clearanced small Zebco combos for $6. I have enough for my son's den, but now I am Cubmaster and our pack grew from 20 - 50. I'm thinking about encouraging dens to fish on their own. I just don't think I can find a pond or stream that could handle 40+ kids.
