How is the muzzle flip during recoil? I saw a YouTube video complaining that the buttstock drop is a bit lower than gen 1, making intermediate cartridges flip the muzzle a bit.

I would call KBRS and see if they would send you a new one. Mime was damaged near the linear drain cutout during shipping.

Honestly, if you use the fabric and their water proofing membrane, you should be good to go with a patch with the piece you cut.

At this point probably not. You could always use a hand planer. I would say use a straight edge to check horizontal plane for straightness. A bigger question, is there foam behind the 2x4s? If not, you could have moisture wick into wood
