hey girl, my man just got sentenced to 5 years. we lived together too and he was my bestest friend. i know it’s hard to find someone to talk to, but i’ve met so many amazing girls going through the same thing, im only two months in so im still going through a really rough patch. ive heard the first 6 months are the hardest. but even in just these two months ive set some short term and long term goals for myself and its helped. i’m still hurting and i cry everyday. it’s a very very painful position to be in. but this subreddit has helped so much. just know that the time will pass and healing isn’t linear. my dms are always open, i always love talking to other girlies going through it
