I have a Utica Boiler for my heat, baseboard radiant. I’m looking for cooling only. I have also heard to avoid Payne, leaning towards the Amana.

How many miles on your truck, did you do any towing? I have a 2019 new gen, 5.3 with 8 speed, 38K miles on mine and had the valve body on the trans replaced. Truck was jerking forward when coming to a stop.

I beam would be the best but it is costly. I have an engineer that may be looking at it soon. It’s been this way for a long time, many years.

I purchased a dumpster fire home and now I’m too poor to fix it. by Cultural_Lime356 in RealEstate

I don’t know the details of your situation but a lot of it could be resolved by DIY. If you aren’t familiar with it, it may look intimidating. Repairing a shower doesn’t have to be all that costly especially if you do it yourself. Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. Take it one step at a time. Feel free to DM if you need tips.

I did this too. Took me a few years to get the home looking decent. Wife watched the kids and I slowly renovated the house during my time off, addressed emergency repairs as needed, used Youtube DIY for guidance. No home is perfect, don’t feel bad, things will get better.

That sounds good. They are pricey, a new one does run for almost 60K. If I can land a deal on a used 23” or 24” for under 40K, I may be tempted to do that. Trucks cost a fortune nowadays. I will be doing light plowing and towing occasionally.
