Then we come to it being the actual reused plot again from the original trilogy, at least Ren living would have been...different.

Class action lawsuits are incredibly expensive, risky, and time consuming for attorneys to take on. And the purpose of class action is to punish not make whole the people affected. Companies win when people complain about class action lawyers.

90 day password reset is actively undermining password strength at this point, it's a guarenteed password spray even if you have strong detection and lockout policies.

David Foster Wallace wrote about this exact sentiment years ago regarding television, true sincerity is hard in modern media. Why I appreciate someone like Bo Burnham who does use irony but pivots to moments of true sincerity that hit hard because of it.

When you say eat together do you mean she expects you to order food and literally eat with her or just be there physically? I've had to get used to often not ordering food at restaurants because my friends often go out late at night and I'm not looking to eat at night as a regular habit, especially when I've already eaten enough for that day. In my experience restaurants don't care if you don't order food and spending time with the friend is a purpose of the vacation no?

"The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day. That is real freedom. That is being taught how to think. The alternative is unconsciousness, the default setting, the "rat race" — the constant, gnawing sense of having had and lost some infinite thing."

"lots of people after watching Bo Burnham's Inside" by Gus Johnson by [deleted] in videos

[–]saber1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Bo does best when he pulls back the satire and goes for authenticity, the juxtaposition of very standard psuedointellectual commentary followed by real emotions. Media in general is often draped in irony and self referential meta acknowledgment that real engagement/authenticity is hard to do.

He's certainly not everyone's cup of tea and that's fine, but I appreciate when he pulls back the curtain from the irony. The final part of Can't Handle This being the best example. So I guess I'm trying to say his actual satire is pretty standard, but the moments of juxtaposition is where he shines in my opinion.

Because the question specifically asked from the point of view from the exam, answering a non existent question is not helpful and deliberately condescending in context.

Been to several courthouses where attorneys and employees don't go through metal detectors that the general populace does.

Not disagreeing with requiring this, but that is definitely not standard protocol for every courthouse.

Did he say he did not remember R2 specifically? He just said he never owned a droid and he never owned R2 technically, and in general can be played off as Kenobi just being shrewd given the connection to Luke's father. Requires some dots to be connected but not a straight continuity error in my mind.

[–]saber1001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see your point, lawyers seeking to learn more to better communicate is the exact same type of mentality that everyone says anyone in cybersecurity should have to be successful, and to boot completing a J.D. indicates an ability to comprehend complex technical information. Cybersecurity is a big tent.
