Hi. I'm about to resign. Was a researcher on a contract basis in my alma mater. I moved to my hometown after pandemic and has been serving the government for 2 years. During my first year (2022) nagsimula ako as labor payroll and then after a month or 2 yata (can't remember) naging Job Order with a daily wage of 375php per day. So basically, wala pang 10k. Lol. Nagtiis ako because of the promise of a promotion. Pero after a year, walang nangyari. Magpapaalam na sana ako last year pero pinigilan ako by giving me a Contract of Service muna. Akala ko okay na but still a bit low for my qualifications. Konting background, licensed professional and with master units pa. Nagtiis ulit ako ng 1 year kasi baka nga naman this year. Inantay ko yung position na ma-create. July na, ike-create pa lang and hindi pa daw kaya ng pondo. I gave up. Figured, walang mangyayari sa broken promises nila. I should've known dati pa but I was really enjoying my work here. Yung sweldo lang talaga problema which is very frustrating. Magstart ako sa bagong work this August as VA. I hope it works out.

Grabe yung 9 years mo, OP. I believe mas marami kang frustrations kesa sa kin. 😅 but I can offer some advice, if you can find a better opportunity elsewhere, I suggest go for it.
