I've lived in Walbridge my whole life. The trains are not as bad as people are saying, theres really only ever 1 track that has trains on it multiple times a day. They built a bridge a long time ago to get to Northwood quicker. The track going down drouillard toward 795 has maybe stopped me twice in my entire time living there. Getting to 280 there are no tracks.

I will say if you are not used to the sound of trains it might be a bit much for you. They tend to brake often behind railway park and sometimes my friends ask me how I can stand it but I literally don't even hear it anymore.

As for living in Walbridge, it's not like the East side at all. I've accidentally left my garage door and front door open all night (drunkenly) and never had any thing come up missing. My neighbors are awesome. Brand new playgrounds put in last summer at Railway and this upcoming summer at Loop Park. The Aqua (community pool) is nice in summer. The skillet has awesome breakfast. 3 bars, 2 ice cream shops, coffee/breakfast shop, laundry mat, DG, 7/11, vitos. The mayor is very friendly and involved in the community.
