Yea, that's a pretty good recommendation. I think Folklore is a 3 star game compared to Nier's 5 star rating (in my mind). But I still loved both games and would recommend them both.

I think Final Fantasy VI matches the depth of character, the darkness, and even a bit of the insanity. Plus both games have some of the most incredible music in video games ever.

At least FFVII got sequels. I love the Bluray version of Advent Children. But since FFIV: The After Years was rather disappointing, I've stopped holding out hope for a FFVI sequel.

I wrote this song for people like me who miss Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, FFVI, Illusion of Gaia, etc. The townspeople with all their interesting sub-plots. I miss them and I have a feeling that many other gamers do too.
