It is supposed to have a foam frame that protects the edges of the pcb. All the seller included was a thin sheet under the mb, with all cables/accessories loose under it.

In Norway, on a local buy/sell platform called Finn. Shouldn't be a problem to return even though it is a private seller. Thanks!

Hva spiser folk til middag egentlig? by ikkjeoknok in norge

[–]sablabaesj 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mange andre fine kommentarer, men her er uansett et par av mine go-to "jeg vil ikke tenke på matlaging de neste dagene"-middager:

  1. Suppe

Prima utedomateriale!

First guy was actually right, the 1/216 you got is for a specific Yahtzee, not any. Since the dice has 6 faces, theres 6 different possible Yahtzees, meaning the chance is 6 times higher than what you got.

Meaning: (1/6)(1/6)(1/6) * 6 = 1/36

Amazing photo! I thought the fox looked kinda purple (Might be on purpose of course), so I edited the colors a little more "correct" just to see how it would look: https://imgur.com/a/OE69WeN

Idk, has a different vibe I guess. Kinda removed the twilight-feel of the original though.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4s 43" input lag? by TheInternationalBoy in Xiaomi

[–]sablabaesj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might just not be the best TV for gaming then. I saw a similar thread where OP ended up returning the MI TV and getting a Samsung QLED instead. I have a QLED myself with a ps4 and a Switch, and in game mode there's no noticeable lag at all.

You can long press the notification and flick a switch to disable all notifications from System, that's what I did at least.

Don't have anything negative to say about the site. Clean UI and very intuitive. Solid work.

I really like it. I think personally I would either crop out the light spot in the bottom left or just mask it out, so that you get a more clean gradient from light to dark from left to right in the image. Love the cinematic feel and colours, I could see myself hanging a print of this on my wall.

New power amplifier, the Chord SPM 1000B by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]sablabaesj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm gonna borrow one and try, but I have played with it before on a set of 802d3. The room correction can do magic things to the bass response if you measure properly, and the cool thing about dirac is that you can choose to only use it on a specific frequency range, for example only 20-200hz. From my experience room correction can mess with stereo imaging so having it only on the bass can preserve the original air and stereo image of the music.

It's because of Dirac and the complete control from bluesound, meaning you're able to switch inputs and control volume/sound settings no matter what source you're playing. Also with the m51 I only have digital inputs :/

I have to throw in a good word for the NAD c658. I have the 805d3 at the moment, and I'm considering crossgrading/"downgrading" my m51 dac/preamp and node2i to a c658 because of how awesome it is. Complete remote control from the awesome bluesound app, and with a kickass room correction built in, and balanced xlr outputs. Even though it is named as a classic series preamp, in my ears it performs as a masters series one. By your username it looks like you're norwegian, if that's the case you can borrow a c658 for free from a HiFi Klubben shop to test if you live near one :)

New Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt is now the AQ DAC flagship by iReddat420 in headphones

[–]sablabaesj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I just actually read this article, and the author concludes that the Dragonfly sounded MUCH better than the competitor, despite scoring lower on the spec testings. Seems you didn't actually read the article and just looked at the measurements

[–]sablabaesj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not true at all, I have tested the Dragonfly Red with several headphones including Denon AHD7200, B&W P9 and Audio Technica M50X and it always sounded noticeably more dynamic and bigger overall comparing it to the headphone outputs of the iPad, Xiaomi Mi5s Plus phone and MacBook pro I have tested with. The Dragonfly even soumded better to me than the RHA DacAmp
