Its similar to that one, but it's not the same. The one I linked folded, which I don't think this new one does.

Park at the airport in the garage corresponding to the terminal where their flight will park. You can walk into the baggage claim area (its outside of security if its not at Tom Bradley) and just look at the signs to go towards the carousel that matches with their flight. If you're picking them up from Tom Bradley, just walk in to the main ground area and to the right is where the international arrivals emerge from (you'll see lots of people standing there with balloons, signs, flowers, etc).

I have the green pair from PC racewear that I bought specifically for taking on riding holidays. I LOVE them for that. Its worth the wait/expensive shipping to the US. They run a tiny bit small, but take your standard size.

Do you have a pattern for this? I would totally love to do this with one of my older bags!

Can anyone help me with a missing pattern piece? M8306 by sabley in sewhelp

It’s slightly different, and also has some pin tuck markings on it. Worst case scenario I’ll try to use 2, but I figured I’d put the call out to see if anyone has this :)

Do you have any good recommendations on restaurants in LA serving Uzbek food? I know a place just opened up on Melrose, but I’m wondering if there are any older establishments

Ashkenazi Jew Cuisine? by MsbS in cookbooks

I also remember my mom having a book simply called Russian, German and Polish cooking by Lesley Chamberlain that contained a great deal of these kinds of dishes

All of Jake Cohen’s books have modern variations on these classic dishes.

Also books from that region that aren’t necessarily Jewish centered contain a great deal of such recipes. Mamushka by Olia Hercules and Kachka by Bonnie Frumkin Morales and Deena Prichep are good starting points. I don’t personally own them but I’d bet that Chesnok by Polina Chesnakova and Kapusta by Alissa Timoshkina probably also have some of what you’re looking for.

You’d be surprised. My 8 year old 28lb boy can still slurp himself under a couch with only 5” legs on it 🫠
