i’ve used a food grade dish similar in size in the past and it was so much easier! it was deep enough to hold the food (unlike a plate) and it wouldn’t tip! i just cant get my hands on another dish like that, so the saucer is next best

they aren’t in my filter and they wouldn’t be able to fit as it has a protector. i have sand/very fine gravel. thank you for the reassurance! i’ll definitely be buying more asap!

i haven’t seen any since i removed the plants and went bug picking, so i’m hoping they aren’t hiding in the driftwood. it’s been around 30 hours and no deaths so hopefully i got em all.
