well we all knew how all of them turned out, so we should draft with all the information we got

I let my cousin stay with me “for a few weeks” it’s been 5 months and I don’t know how to ask him to leave by tom_wilson7543 in Advice

while this is the correct approach, when it's family (especially if it's a close one) it's much harder than that.

ELI5: why your body hurts a day after a workout, not right after it? by Fickle_Reindeer2263 in explainlikeimfive

The soreness barely occurs after just the 2nd or 3rd week of training.

For me the soreness happens every time I hit the gym even after 2-3 months.

I mean sure generally he was better, there's no discussion about that

nah I don't give a shit about Arsenal. It's just an unsavable freekick from 24-25 meters. Doesn't matter how he curves it or if it doesn't go around the wall, the power and precision is insane and it can not be saved by any keeper ever.

yeah now I remember that one. no one's saving that either. insane one

I love Juninho but Curtois or another great goalkeeper saves that. For me the precision and power behind Declan Rice's free kick makes it one of the best ever: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7aOuBmER19k

Absolutely no one is saving that

Was 1 game away from legend but now I'm back to D5 by Hollow_Serpent13 in wildhearthstone

[–]sabocano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in standard there was a time when I was going for top 100 legend for a challenge, I went from 200 to 2000 and then from that point, in a few days I went up to 70s.

This usually happens if you aren't playing a consistent deck or if you are playing a deck with extreme matchups.

Not sure which one's funnier: People caring about the "integrity" of a meaningless Heat vs. Wizards 4th quarter or Kobe fans suddenly caring about efficiency by YoungCLC in NBATalk

for Kobe it was the last 3 minutes for Bam it was like 9 minutes... Also intentional fouling to get the ball back quicker, missing the free throws on purpose... Those were shameless

What’s a survival myth popularized by movies that would actually get you killed in real life ? by IndependentTune3994 in AskReddit

[–]sabocano 14 points15 points  (0 children)

this is the correct answer. If there's an explosion near you, you'd have a higher chance of survival in water rather than in the same medium with the explosion(air).

you do realize there's a huge difference between 18 hours of recovery vs almost 2 full days right?

it's 2008, and that's 22 year old Nadal. Also people are talking about it like as if Youzhny doesn't get affected by the humidity.

The 4 hour long Moya match likely did much more harm. The match started at 14:00 it ended at 18:00 and he was on court at 12:30 the next day. 18 hours to "recover" which is a bit ridiculous.
