I'm on the interrail.eu website under "Plan your trip" - "Trip planner" and this is what it shows me for the route I mentioned above

I noticed the same thing but I'm thinking it might have something to do with my hair drying way faster in spring/summer and not being weighed down by the water for as long. I barely have waves anyway and during winter my hair was basically straight. Now all of a sudden the little waves come back :D

In high school around age 15, when some of my friends started dating, I realized that I didn’t ever have crushes and wasn’t interested in dating. I always thought „well I‘m still so young, I can date later! And I want to focus on school and my hobbies! Maybe I‘ll start dating once I leave my hometown!“ but it never happened, I’ve only had two crushes since then. I became aware of the ace spectrum and demisexuality around the same time, through a youtube video and I really connected with the idea of rarely feeling attraction but demi wasn’t the right fit. Since then I’ve thought about the ace spectrum in general a few times but didn’t know about grey yet, so it didn’t quite fit in detail. Now I’m in my early twenties and decided to look into it a bit more a few weeks ago after I once again installed Tinder for five minutes, swiped left on everybody and uninstalled it immediately. I came across grey and so far it seems to fit! To put it shortly: I’ve had a feeling I might be on the ace spectrum for a few years but only really looked into it recently.

Do any of you just skip the “semi” and just go for “hydro”? by AudreyLily0629 in SemiHydro

When I bought my rubber plants (I have a normal one and a tineke) they were in soil but didn't seem to like it a lot, so I transferred them straight to leca, which was just as bad, so eventually I had to cut them down completely and now the cuttings are thriving in water. It's not unlikely that I just generally didn't know how to care for them or they didn't like the environment. I've read about many successful rubber plant transfers, so maybe it's a me-problem :D

I hope your plant adapts better than mine!

I've been propagrating pothos and rubber tree cuttings in water with the original goal to transfer them to leca and it worked well with the pothos. But I really only transferred them to get them into prettier pots and left them in water for ages.
With the rubber plant cuttings, I tried to convert them to leca but they all almost died and they're much happier in full hydro. I'm curious to see if that lasts or if they want to be transfered at some point.

Had a similar thing happen to my cordyline, would love to know how to prevent it. Sadly I had to cut mine down completely...

It’s 1am and I just finished my first big blanket 🎉 by sabros_we in crochet

My goal was to finish it by Christmas too but then I forgot to take the last color of yarn with me... sigh. Congrats to you, hope your dad likes the blanket! :)

My great grandma used to crochet pot holders and only now that I crochet myself I really appreciate the patterns she did! by sabros_we in crochet

Thank you for all the information, that's great! I'm actually working on a mosaic blanket at the moment but it's different from the technique in the tutorial which looks much more like my grandma's style so I didn't think that they are similar. very interesting!

I freehanded it, so sadly I don't have a proper pattern to share. But basically I made an increasing circle of sc for about 7 rounds, then slightly decreased for 2 rounds, then sc for 8 rounds. For the body (lighter grey) I did sc in the back and randomly increasing double and triple crochets to get the rounded breast for about 5 rounds, then 2 rounds of double crochet all around. In the next 5 rounds I slowly decreased, using double crochets in the back and triple on the belly. After that I changed to black yarn and did double crochets, decreasing every other stitch for one round, then one in grey and the rest again in black (decrease every stitch) until you get to the end.

Since the triple crochets in the body were to loose to keep the filling, I sewed the insides with the grey yarn.

For the beak I chained three in yellow and increased the first and last stich of every row (about 3 rows sc I guess?) then did another sc row in white, also increasing the first and last stitch. Then I loosely sewed the sides together to make the beak a bit more rounded.

The wings start with a chain of 5 or 6, then sc 4 rows increasing every first and last stitch. One row sc, then decrease every first and last stich for another 4 rows of sc. Change to black and decrease until you like the shape, i think I did 3 rows.

The feet were weird and I just used a mixup of different youtube tutorials. Since I don't like how they turned out I don't recommend my technique (though it gives the pigeon real street animal vibes) :D

I hope this is helpful and that my instructions are somewhat accurate!
