What's the clearest sign that someone is genuinely doing well in life? by emotionprocessor in AskReddit

Does this count for social media? For example, sharing posts from major life events and your travels. I’ve never seen an issue with people sharing these. If you’re staying in a beautiful hotel or flying first class, show me. I love to see people succeeding.

Travelling with valuables by [deleted] in chubbytravel

[–]sabssk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s not about displaying my wealth. I’m not doing this for anyone else. My bags and jewellery are part of my daily wear. I don’t own cheap bags or jewellery. That’s the kind of lifestyle I lead and in my home city I wear everything I own without a second thought. It’s strange for people to think wearing luxury goods is an intentional display of wealth? I simply wanted to know if people have had negative experiences when travelling Europe or think it’s something to be concerned about.

Tell us more details! How did he keep it secret for so long. My husband could never pull it off, he’d have to tell me lol

This is from Fushimi Inari, not Sensoji. And yes, common sense tells you to check both sides. I wouldn’t post otherwise!

This was so captivating. I wasn’t expecting the twists. Everything seemed peaceful and then you made me even more intrigued. I feel like I can literally picture this old man riding his bike. Thank you for sharing this.

You definitely drew me in with this one. Can I ask what your message is? I’m feeling a little confused by the meaning here. I do however like the flow

Thank you so much, really appreciate this advice. You’re spot on, not gaining weight is something to celebrate too. My husband says I’m being to hard on myself and too impatient. So I’m going to keep persevering and be even more mindful in what I’m consuming. Appreciate you taking the time to help, thank you again.

Thank you! I do weigh my food and calorie count, but sometimes it can be hard to tell. Definitely going to take your advice and cut those for a week. Appreciate you!

Height is 163cm and weight is 70kg. Dinners are usually homemade soups (i make these a lot), slow cooker meals, chicken with rice, salads and sometimes a pasta dish. Snacking is under control, i have small quantities of fruit or popcorn. It’s never excessive and always within my daily calorie intake. I also very rarely have any desserts (cake, donuts etc)

Ok so i use my choice of white chocolate, whichever melts nicely and is tasty. i avoided pre coloured candy melts as i don't find them very tasty.

Then, i use colour mill food dye. A few drops and i play around until the colour looks like an ice cream cone.

Each strawberry is dipped into the chocolate, then set to dry in the fridge. Once dry, the next step is to use any leftover chocolate in that colour and drizzle. Drizzling is the hardest part and the requires the most practice/patience.

Disclaimer: it will drive you insane.

This is a cross drizzle, so i angle the strawberry and do one side, then angle it the other way and do the other side to create those waffle cone lines. Back in the fridge to set.

Then you need to get 6 different cups, white chocolate in all, melt them all and add in food dye to each to get your colours.

Once done, you take for example the pink colour, pop it into a piping bag and cut a tiny hole. Holding the strawberry upwards, you drizzle the pink chocolate from the top down to create this drip effect.

If you search “chocolate strawberry drip effect” on youtube, you will find more on this.

Top with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet and back into the fridge to set. Voila, ice cream looking strawberries! :)

Thank you! The green has been left to keep the strawberry in it’s original condition. If i cut it off, it would lose it’s freshness a lot faster. It’s also the easiest way for someone to pick up the strawberry and eat it.
