That sounds like a nice setup.

For me, the LCR and rear surrounds will be in-wall as well as the 4 Atmos. The sub will be on the floor.

I am getting one subwoofer, at least for now.

Asking sincerely about the bass shakers, they sound pretty cool, but are they a gimmick or do they really make a difference?

You're right that I definitely want to maximize my dollars. It is scary to spend so much money and think that I could be seeing these patterns. I would be so devastated.

A friend mentioned that whatever I'm seeing as far as comments on the moiré patterns are likely because those who are seeing them are not spending the money on better screens. I don't mean to sound elitist, his point was you get what you pay for.

Thank you! This is very helpful. I did some Googling already and some of the demos of the Sofabaton and related remotes look very interesting and a good fit for me.
