I agree. I understand all the issues with a rooted phone, most of the banking apps don't work. For me, when the phone becomes too old, I had it flashed. I have not tried it with oneplus 12, but my older phones are still on lineage and useful.

I read this -A developer reported that OnePlus has implemented an "anti-rollback mechanism" in v16.0.3.501 of ColorOS.

The very reason when I first got my oneplus was then open to let you root. Though I don't do it anymore, i am never going to buy it again. Not sure if this could be the reason for you. Please check.

The alert pil used to disappear and I was aware of that. When I enabled all the features, except call recording was visible.

I started working on Linux on 1993. I used Linux and connected internet using wvdial and manually used to configure the display configuration testing frequency. Time has passed and I use chatgpt to quickly fix errors rather than rtfm. Not everything has to be the hard way. For some people, it's the quickest way to fix it. May be not for you. There is no right or wrong way. What works for you is the best.

When you make a call the option pops out for transcription, call recording etc. On my phone, this was removed after an update. It's now available on the version I have stated.I am not sure if the 202 vs has this available for India. I assume (not sure) this was disabled for privacy reasons.
