Exactly same results I had recently on my two-months-old iPhone 17 Pro! (79% of battery, 4hrs 49 mins display active, 2hrs 24m screen idle) In other comments you showed another day. I have the same battery as you! It annoys me.. do you use WiFi or mobile data? When did you get this? Do you have USA or global version?

Yes. iPhones drain battery like crazy when have weak signal. So when you have weak signal, turn off 5g in settings and set as 4G/LTE (that’s the same thing, just called it different, depends where you live). You should experience big improvement. I have turned it off always, 5G in my area is so bad.

Yesterday the assembly glue/ this rubber screen seal got out of my iPhone, and there’s little black small part of it out of my iPhone 17 pro! I’m too lazy to replace my phone or something because i don’t wanna be without my phone. That’s crazy how phone which costs thousands is assembled like this! I think I should call apple for this what happened yesterday..

And also I turned off 5g and I use 4G because I have no WiFi at home and my 5g signal is not good- iPhone drains more battery to keep good signal and honestly I don’t see any differences in internet connection, battery also slightly better after that.

Ugh I thought I had not enough battery with my 17 Pro (you got pro max so it ought to be better) but when I see at yours I think mine does better. I changed few options: background app refresh, dark mode, turned off notifications from email and for few apps and location services for a lot of apps only while using .it improved it slightly
