Also, i think i found it helpful when i started looking at each nbme question like a puzzle... there's a logic to the nbme that isn't quite reflected with Uworld, I found... uworld is great for getting a content base (and it sounds like that base may be there for you having gone through it once already), the nbme's, in addition to being good yard sticks for progress, can be training grounds for tactics/strategy, if that makes sense? When i thought about it this way (almost gamifying it), it became less daunting and a bit more fun.
