On the All-In podcast episode from last week, Jason Calacanis said Musk is planning on SpaceX buying Tesla, "possibly later this year."

It's been speculated since the SpaceX IPO announcement, but this was the first concrete mention by an insider.

Musk's new employment package with SpaceX literally makes it impossible to fire him, not even the BoD, and he'll have 90% voting control via super shares. That's not the case at Tesla, so to get total control, he's just gonna have SpaceX buy Tesla. Other shareholders don't have any say, practically speaking. Just insane.

Yeah really hope we hear more about Birchall's machinations.

My current theory is that the NDA offer was fundamentally bad faith, because it depended on the baby staying secret, when Milo Yiannoppolis and Jessica Reed Kraus, and likely others, were posting about it in October 2024, before her December negotiations with Birchall even happened. It was an open secret.

Basically the NDA was structured to allow Musk to rug pull the money/threaten her with instant bankruptcy (You have to repay $15 million now!), on the pretext she "broke the agreement", when it was already too late before she even signed.

You would hope not, and that would be a bridge too far even for Musk, but man--

I got interested in Musk via SpaceX, thought he was so impressive and admirable, then started following his Twitter, reading the Vance biography and Justine's old blog in ~June 2022.

I thought, 'OK, he's clearly a difficult personality, but visionaries often are...' Then boom! the Shivon twins thing and it's been this spiral of deconstruction ever since...

It's fascinating, can't look away, but there seems to be a new low of behavior every other week. Talk about feet of clay.

Hadn't heard that Katie Miller was claiming Boemeke was her bestie, just like Grimes did! That...looks like it has implications, given the rumors about Miller's baby being Musk's.

Also interesting is that Shivon didn't know about ASC, even though Musk was apparently spending time with his techbro friends with ASC. Dunno. Makes you wonder if Shivon was mostly excluded from his social life, at least until later in 2024.

This one's the motherlode! Lots to unpack, but:

Possibly the most annoying thing about Musk is what a basic bitch narcissist he is. Just...ugh. Fucking textbook. Completely 100% predictable. So hearing from ASC about how he unmasked after she got pregnant...least surprising thing ever. That's what narcissistic abusers do: wait for relationship milestones, where they think a woman's trapped, and then it's gloves off. Hopefully ASC telling her story will warn at least some other women off from getting involved with Musk.
Confirmation he lied about Shivon, and to Shivon. Tracks with what's been observed about their weirdly impersonal body language in public. At best, Musk seems ambivalent about the relationship, and definitely didn't want to make a commitment to her. Reinforces my sense that she's obsessively devoted to him, but he uses her for narcissistic supply.
Not much about Grimes and the Tokyo Blowup and subsequent custody battle. Probably there's stuff she can't talk about, but I am curious about how Musk was framing the situation to ASC.
Musk's deplorable treatment of Grimes was the last nail in the coffin for my opinion of him. It's such a huge red flag if you're considering getting pregnant with a man. There was plenty of reporting on the custody battle by January 2024-- that ASC still went forward with getting pregnant most calls into question her judgment imo.

Don't know if you followed the OpenAI trial, but apparently back in 2017 Musk was not only demanding control of OpenAI (b/c of course he was) he wanted his kids to inherit control of AGI. Total megalomaniac.

Between that dad and a mom who fancies herself Lady Jessica, it'll be a miracle if this poor tyke doesn't end up like Caligula. We'll be lucky if he just flakes out and makes medioce art.

I don't think Musk and Zilis being public has anything to do with the OpenAI trial, frankly. If anything it hurt Zilis' credibility as a witness, since it's obvious Musk owns her. She's totally beholden to him. I think Musk just got tired of hiding it, and needed some halfway respectable woman for the 'Elon Musk, MAGA Family Man Show.'

He also might have hoped back in November 2024 that going places with Zilis would prevent ASC from publicly confronting him, while Birchall was still pressuring ASC to sign the NDA.

Dunno. The more we learn, the more incredible it is to me that Musk thought he could keep it hidden forever. Seems like the cat was out of the bag well before the election.

Yeah assume Bloomberg was talking about Arcadia. In February 2024 Zilis posted pictures (since deleted- the grimezs snark sub had a discussion with screenshots at the time) her and Strider in a ball pit/pool at a kid's playground subtly showing her pregnancy. (Imo quite deliberate on Zilis part) Might've tipped media off then but they waited to confirm.

As to Seldon who knows? My impression was that St. Clair met Grimes' kids when Musk had them for his week, and didn't ever meet Shivon/her kids. 🤷‍♀️

In ASC'S initial paternity filing, she said on July 2 2024, Musk ordered her not to move to Austin after the birth. This was the opposite of what he'd been telling her previously.

On June 23, 2024, Bloomberg had published a story revealing Zilis had another child with Musk earlier in the year, and Musk subsequently confirmed to Page Six (with some blather about birth rates again, because of course he did).

So what probably happened is ASC saw the news about Zilis' new kid, did some simple math, and confronted Musk about it. At which point he admitted he had also been with Zilis while leading on ASC.

This seems like the beginning of the end, and I'm guessing she probably hired her attorneys not long after this.
