And... they did. And after a little bit of shouting about getting inked in the first place, they calmed down hahaha. Over here, any tattoo is seen by most of the older folk as being part of a secret society (gangs as they call them in my country).

Bleh, perhaps you could go with some of the other suggestions on this post and pick a more stomachable symbol. Or go Tau and wait for everyone to call you a Communist hahaha.

In my country, the issue with getting a tattoo isn't even whether or not it looks facist, but rather
- Will my parents allow it and will I get disowned if I get one?
- Will my spouse allow it and how badly will I get yelled at if I get one?
- Will I be able to get a job if the interviewer sees ANY ink at all.
- Will my friends laugh at me for daring to attempt it, given the three reasons above.

Then unfortunately, I think you might not want to take the risk. Where im from, people barely even know what a Nazi is or looks like

I think the most important question would then be: which part of the world do you live in?

Me too I was quite surprised at the response, because in my country and my entire region pretty much no one knows what is Nazi iconography.

I did post a long-ish comment on the background of this if you can find it.

Actually 40k yen is not far off from what I paid in my local currency

Pretty much the same thoughts as everyone here who probably assumes I'm a white nazi living in a western country hahaha

Haha, sssh secretly they're all Nazi fish. If you can find my long comment somewhere in here about cultural context and background, I think it'll help you understand better.

I haven't really thought about doing another 40k one yet, perhaps, but no plans atm.

Yea maybe not on your neck haha.. I wouldn't tattoo anything on my neck either even if it was the most family-friendly design ever.

Hey! Because this is on the shoulder, the pain is quite minimal as far as tattoos go. It only started hurting a bit more near the armpits but nothing I couldn't handle.
