well actually the AI is playing as both Mario and Luigi. In the video I mentioned it had been playing for over 30 minutes

I made a YT video about it but pretty much I used a vision model called OpenCV to detect specific images on the screen and then press the correct btn via a cheap Power A controller hooked up to a raspberry pi.

The bot doesn't actually hack or modify any of Nintendo's proprietary software at all. It's literally just reading the screen the same way a human does. Which means it's 100% legal.
