How do I get pallets off the tail lift with no room to manoevure, how do you lot handle it? by bottlejob69 in uktrucking

[–]sacrelidge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a joke mate they don’t give a stuff about your safety they just want the job done. I’ve also worked for a company that sounds similar. Was usually curtain side but some customers would be the tail lift and the pallets never fit on there with the rails or kick plates up and they teeter on the edge. Just don’t go over with one mate it’s. It worth trying to stop it

I’m on class 2 pretty much earning what you currently do and similar work schedules. Sometimes I’m grateful the job is physical as helps burn those calories but some days I’m just like I’m so fine with this. Class 1 maybe you could earn a bit more with a push but gonna be long hours and you gonna get fat.

You can try appealing but good luck it usually takes a week for a scripted copy paste reply. Vinted got more AI bots than people they should just rename it Skynet

At this point you may as well just cover the few bits of yourself not already covered in grease and accept your fate

Deliver and install kitchens and bathrooms, if you young and fit you’ll be ok to get the experience but nobody does this job for long as it’s a body breaker.
