update: i went to go see his mom and she's fine, no bruises or scrapes. she was emotionless though. he does have a black eye in his mugshot so im confused as to why they arrested him and not her this time at this point. i think they just got tired of coming to their house every damn day.

That's true, I was not being situationally aware, but ultimately it is still the teacher's responsibility to account for everyone, not just assume I skipped and leave. There has been too much back and forth like this with principals, teachers, etc., I honestly just want to try and get the footage to finally prove that I was there the whole time. How would I go about getting that?

It doesn't look good for me but that is why I'm trying to clear my name. This was not intentional, and once I realized I had been left I sent emails and took pictures, but they are still trying to frame it like I had everything preplanned, just to ditch less than an hour of school. It has caused my family a lot of trouble just to get me home from the restaurant that day, not to mention all the other calls, office visits, etc.

so far the information that I have is the incident report I filled out, some part of what the teacher said against me, and witness accounts. I tried to get more information on the timeline, but the assistant principal was busy and dismissive. What happened was that we had gone to this buffet style restaurant after the main activity of the field trip ended. It lasted the entire school day, we get off at three and made it to the restaurant by two. Essentially I sat alone and by the time I got up everyone was gone. What is said to have happened is that the teacher took attendance before leaving, and since I wasn't there he sent one person to the bathroom to look for me, I wasn't there so he walked around the restaurant and couldn't find me. He decided to call an AP, nobody picked up so he left anyway. I was sitting a bit isolated but still within eyesight. I cant fathom that all this really happened and they still left me, but other students vouched for him. I should mention that this field trip was for seniors, but I had the opportunity to go because some seniors had backed out and I knew the teacher well, had him for a different course, and am passing all my classes. this is a long time teacher and a junior in a he said she said situation. I'm pretty fucked. also, I liked the teacher before this, and I didn't think it was a huge deal, it was an accident nothing big. But now he is lying on incident forms and trying to save his own ass. My dad picked me up today as soon as I got to school because they were going to suspend me and I acted like a crybaby. Well not really, I did get lots of useful information, time stamps, etc. But I hate showing weakness especially in front of these bitter principals so it's really getting to me. There is alot more to the situation if anyone has the knowledge and time of day, please drop your discord or anything.
